How it works

Customer-friendly payments on three steps

For card holders

If a transaction was processed on your card using Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) offered by ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions and you believe the exchange rate was less favourable compared to your card issuer’s exchange rate, you may be eligible for a chargeback.

To be entitled to a chargeback, the rate offered by yourcard  issuer (including conversion fees) on the same day and same card must have been more favourable than the exchange rate applied to the transaction you are disputing (being the transaction processed using DCC).

To initiate a chargeback, you will need to provide the following:

  1. Proof of DCC transaction: Receipt, transaction details, or statement showing the DCC usage.

  2. Transaction details: Date, amount, merchant’s name, and location.

  3. Card issuer’s conversion rate: Gather your issuer’s exchange rate on the same card on the same day and the same currency to compare with the rate applied to the DCC transaction.

  4. Description of the issue: DCC

For chargeback procedures, consult your cardholder agreement and contact your issuer for specific guidelines and timelines. The charge- back process will follow your issuer’s terms and conditions, and they will determine the dispute outcome based on their investigation.
