ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions considers a number of factors when pricing your merchant facility and aims to help you structure your merchant pricing to best suit your particular business situation.
ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions’ merchant pricing consists of Service Fees charged for card processing, and other fees which may be ongoing or once-off.

ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions service fees
Merchant Service Fee (MSF)
Merchant Service Fee (MSF) includes Visa and Mastercard transaction charges, combined, and UnionPay International transaction charges as a separate item.
EFTPOS Debit Card Fee (DCF)
Debit Card Fee (DCF) applies to EFTPOS transactions, which are enacted when the 'SAV' or 'CHQ' function is selected on terminals.

Single Credit/Debit Pricing often suits small to medium businesses that prefer one rate for all Visa and Mastercard card transactions.

Merchant Service Fee (MSF)
ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions will calculate your Visa and Mastercard transaction fees using a single agreed rate for all Visa or Mastercard transactions, and will calculate your UnionPay fees using a single agreed rate for all UnionPay transactions. The MSF is based on % rate against the value of the transaction.

EFTPOS Debit Card Fee (DCF)
ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions will calculate your EFTPOS fee using a single agreed rate for all EFTPOS debit card transactions. The DCF is based on $ rate against the number of transactions.
Your agreed rates are based on a number of factors and depend on your individual business circumstances.
Differential rate pricing
Merchant Differential Rate Pricing often suits small to medium businesses that prefer pricing that is differentiated across specific card categories, which are charged at different rates.

Merchant Service Fee (MSF)
ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions will calculate your Visa and Mastercard transaction fees using different rates for different card categories that you process through your merchant facility. ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions will calculate your UnionPay fees using a single agreed rate for all UnionPay transactions. The MSF is based on % rate against the value of the transaction.

Interchange Plus and International Blended pricing
Interchange Plus and International Blended pricing often suits large businesses and corporates who prefer to have variable pricing, which is subject to change according to domestic interchange prices set by each of the card schemes and International Rates and Union Pay Rates set by ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions.
1. Merchant Service Fee (MSF)
The Merchant Service Fee that will apply to each domestic Visa and Mastercard Transaction processed is made up of two components being (1) Margin and (2) Domestic Interchange (as specified below).
The Merchant Service Fee that will apply to each international Visa and Mastercard Transaction (includes Customer Preferred Currency and Union Pay international transactions) is made up of two components being (1) Margin and (2) International Rate/UnionPay Rate (depending on the card type) (as specified below).
The Margin that will apply to each Transaction processed, in addition to any Domestic Interchange/International Rates/UnionPay Rates (as relevant) and costs, will be as specified in your merchant agreement with ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions. The MSF is based on % rate against the value of the transaction.
For Domestic Visa and Mastercard transactions, the interchange rates which will apply to Transactions are usually the rates which ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions itself is charged under the domestic Visa and Mastercard card schemes. The Reserve Bank of Australia requires Visa and Mastercard to publish these rates, and they are currently published at:
These interchange rates are subject to regular change by Visa and Mastercard.
For International transactions, including Visa, Mastercard, Customer Preferred Currency and UnionPay International (where applicable), ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions will apply an interchange rate (depending on the transaction type) which is set by ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions. These rates are subject to change.

2. Debit Card Fee (DCF)
ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions will calculate your debit fee using a single agreed rate for all Transactions processed via the domestic eftpos network provided by eftpos Payments Australia Limited. The DCF is based on $ rate against the number of transactions.
The information provided above is general only. Final fees, charges and rates are based on a number of factors and depend on your individual situation and will be specified in your merchant agreement with ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions.
Interchange Plus pricing
Interchange Plus pricing often suits large businesses and corporates who prefer to have variable pricing, which is subject to change according to interchange prices set by each of the card schemes.
Merchant Service Fee (MSF)
ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions will calculate your Visa and Mastercard credit and debit fees based on the type of cards and transactions that you process through your merchant facility, according to interchange categories specified by Visa and Mastercard. Interchange rates are subject to regular change.

ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions will calculate your UnionPay fees based on the type of transaction processed through your merchant facility, according to interchange categories specified by Union Pay International.

Important Information
For ANZ business account holders, funds are available on the same day for online transactions, processed through the terminal and settled before 9pm (AEST). For non-ANZ business account holders, for online transactions processed through the terminal, ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions will transfer the funds to the merchant’s bank on the following business day and the availability of the funds will be determined by the merchant’s bank. For transactions processed offline or via Paper Merchant Vouchers, these settlement times do not apply.
